The Norfolk Resort of Cromer: Sitting on the north coast of the county of Norfolk in East Anglia, the coastal resort and parish of Cromer has long been a favourite vacation destination. Also famous as being a fishing town, Cromer is world famous for its lobsters and crabs, that have been a significant income for its fishermen over the years.

The Hotel de Paris was first built in eighteen twenty as a coastal residence for Lord Suffield, it was later remodelled as a hotel in eighteen thirty by Pierre le Francois.

The railway came to Cromer in the 1870s, drawing increasing numbers of travellers to the town and firmly establishing it as a vacation destination. A 2nd station connecting it to the East Midlands opened up approximately 10 years after this.

The parish church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul first dates from the 14th century, but was reconstructed in the 1800s and now has the highest church tower in the county (160 foot).
